    “Terrible - Avoid!”

    Do not waste your money! We actually paid a fortune to move on the 2nd day! This hotel is terrible, really bad for every reason you can think of! The rooms are a disgrace, they are very dated, old, worn and there's plugs hanging off the wall, doorframes not attached properly, the sink was blocked, the bathroom itself is like something from the 80's, the balcony smelt of catt wee and was very dated and dirty. The single beds had springs that stuck up through the mattress and sheets (they did put a topper on when asked but still), the sheets were stained. The food is terrible, there is hardly any choice for vegetarians, they even had a tray full of carrots in the main meal section, plus some stew looking mess labelled vegetarian, but nothing is labelled with any ingredients! They had sprouts for breakfast! The salad was dry, my kids love cucumber and would't even eat it here as it was so dry. The pool bar serves luke warm meats such as chicken, hotdogs etc. There is also music balsting all day by the pool that spreads around the full hotel complex, you cannot escape it. It is dance music from 10am-11pm at night, blaring. I don't want to comment on the type of people who like this hotel - but that is who are giving it more than a 1 star, I would give it 0 if I could. The pool beds around the pool are on mud an dgrass so after a bit of rain are muddy and filthy. The pool did seem quite clean to be fair though. Avoid - I have no idea how this gets 4* ratings and I have made a complaint to Tui about it too. It is shocking and please do not waste your money. I know the hotel will reply saying I am lying like another review reply I read - this is not true! The images must be edited as it does not look like the actual hotel and grounds either!

    “Avoid at the end of season”

    I'm going to start by saying that our bad luck may have coloured our opinions somewhat, however we did not have the best stay. I will try to be objective. Our stay started really well and we were really grateful to find our room had been upgraded, with a bottle of fizz for our wedding anniversary, it was a lovely touch. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather, with torrential rainfall on several days, this lead to leaks all over the place and the paths turned into mini rivers making it hard to navigate from the room to the main part of the hotel. We then all came down with a sickness bug, our daughter was really ill one night in the room so we called reception for cleaning supply's and were told they could not even put hands on a mop and bucket or anything until 7am the next morning, we had to try and clean the room with a handful of towels! I appreciate this is more down to bad luck than the hotel itself however there were other issues linked to it being the end of season. Unfortunately it seemed like the guests still there were an incontinence as the hotel shut down around us. Sunbeds disappeared (not a problem with this as there were fewer and fewer guests), however they completely closed down the snack bar, where perhaps they could have just scaled it back and the offering at the main resturant got less and less until by the last night all my daughter could find to eat was a bread roll due to lack of choice. Our room Unfortunately had some issues on closer inspection, there was black mould on the walls by the balcony, there was no hot water from the sink tap (not ideal when you're all suffering from a sick bug) and by the end of the week due to the rain the balcony above must have sprung a leak, and the ceiling below it in our room started to flake and come down. There were some positives, the entertainment team kept going until the bitter end and were fantastic and friendly. The food was fairly tasty, before the rain and sickness my daughter loved the water park and swimming pool, even if it was a little chilly. Objectively I would say that had we had better weather and not got ill we may have overlooked some of the other things that bothered us, I expect during the summer season proper it would be a fun place to stay, however I wouldn't recommend it for the end of October.

    “First family holiday abroad”

    Appreciation post Cyprotel Faliraki Hotel. My first time abroad as an adult (I'm 34 next week and last time I was abroad I was 16). We went as a family of 6. 2 adults 4 kids (14, 11, 9 and 4) our youngests first time abroad and our first time in Greece. I was nervous after seeing mixed reviews and silly me didn't go my research on weather at this time of year. Lol Before we arrived I messaged them to request the 2 rooms close together, we were put next door to each other which was amazing. The rooms were basic but did the job and were spotless the whole time we were there. The whole complex was absolutely amazing. Clean and well looked after! Staff were super friendly and helpful at all times. The pools were freezing but that didn't stop the kids. The entertainment we had for the week was absolutely amazing. We all loved it. My two boys enjoyed the football at the kids club. The only let down for us was the food in the restaurant 🤢🤢. Absolutely disgusting and by the third night we have up and started going out and buying food ourselves as the kids weren't eating much as there wasnt enough choice. Despite reading on Facebook regarding sickness bugs. We have all come home with no issues! An amazing holiday all round. Apart from the food which they need to improve on! 🩵🩵

    “Travelled with friends and family.”

    We have just returned from a week stay at Cyprotel. We had a lovely time! The entertainment staff were brilliant and welcoming and friendly, unfortunately we had a couple of days bad weather when we were not able to go outside but there was always something for the children to do. The food was delicious and something for fussy eaters. The drinks weren't the best something they can improve on. The accommodation was ok we stayed in rooms 8003 and 8004 , these were clean , little tired looking for perfectly fine to stay in. The reception ladies were very helpful and friendly, so thank you to those members of staff. Plenty of acitivies for your children (or adults) to do, basketball, football, tennis, arts and crafts, arcades , chocolate party's at kids club, water slides, yoga etc We also ventured out to a Turkish hammam spa in Faliraki , we had a lovely massage, turkish bath. The owner even collected provided us with private transfers, highly recommend. Thank you for a fun week at cyprohotel.

    “Experience at Cyprotel”

    Good food but got sick, maybe because of raw pancakes but the rest good. Rooms good, just the bed sheet is to thin and the single bed you could feel the springs and WiFi bad but good shower. Clean and tidy and nice workers. Always cleaning,waiters clearing up, bar tenders are nice and quick, good facilities and nice receptionist. the animation team is nice and friendly keeping you active and occupied. Good entertainment for the night. Sad that the maintenance team were getting rid of sun beds, chairs and tables packing up for winter even though we are still here and it feels like they just want to get rid of us and behind the back of the hotel there was so much chunky. Overall it is good and I recommend.
