Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, is a vibrant city in the heart of the country, home to about 2.5 million people. Founded in the 15th century, it has a rich history tied to French colonization. The city offers a hot subequatorial climate, with a rainy season from May to October when temperatures reach 30 °C. During the dry season, from November to April, temperatures can rise to 45 °C, and the dry harmattan wind provides relief. The international airport offers connections to Paris and West Africa.
